1 Hour Unwrapped to Finish @ 230
Pit Boss Rib 3-2-1 Ribs !! First thing that you are going to do, is to remove the membrane. Next, get your yellow mustard ready.
I prefer the Frenches Yellow Mustard. It doesn’t really matter, just my preference. Now, coat the complete rack in a thin layer of the mustard
Pick your favorite rub and go to town!! Cover the entire rib with your rub, tap it lightly and you will be rockin! I like to use several different rubs and blend them together.
Look at how nice this looks after some mustard and a rub or mixture of rubs covers the ribs up.
After the rub, I put them back in the fridge for 18-24 hours. I pull them out of the fridge 2 hours before I put them on the Pit Boss, I prefer to let the ribs get up to room temperature prior to smoking.
I use the Pit Boss Pro Series II 850 Wood Pellet Grill. Load your preferred pellets in the hopper and set the temp @230. Once you hit the desired temp, add the ribs!! I spray apple juice on the ribs at about every 15 minutes.
After 3hrs, pull the ribs, layout some foil and drizzle with maple syrup, honey and your favorite bbq sauce. Wrap tight in 2 layers of foil and back on the Pit Boss.
After 2 hours of being wrapped, remove the ribs and the foil. add any additional seasoning. Set ribs back on the Pit Boss and roll em for one more hour. I usually end pulling the ribs after about 45 minutes. Spray with apple juice every 10 minutes. Let rest for 15 minutes.
I know that I am no ‘chef’, but damn, these ribs are fire!! After about 45 minutes on the final run, when you try to pick them up, they will just fall apart!
